Hold my hand …we’re on our way

My dear mentor,

At the outset allow me to greet you with my warmest of welcome!

I am right here, eager to be with you. The moment I learned that you will be with me from now on until we’re done, I was filled with joy, pride and excitement. I passed great big hurdle to deserve you, and now there’s the two of us … together in this amazing journey towards empowering our lot, the womanhood of humanity.

For now there is not much I have to get going with my journey as a VOF 2010 correspondent, and, I guess, that’s why you’re here. There’s a great task waiting for all of us women of the world and we know we need each other and everything we have to pursue it. More than just a mentor, I need you as a friend, a guide, a sister, a partner. And I look up to you as the one who knows better, because you have been there where I’m going.

It is with a bit of awkwardness that I admit that what I’ve been into at PulseWire was my first time – to have opened my life to the world. Wearing my heart on my sleeve, showing my being, and defining my soul were things I never thought I could or would ever do in public … not until I got into this amazing community of real soul sisters.

With all that is yet to be done and is yet to unfold, thanks for taking the chance and the effort to stand by me. This awareness has granted me the faith that we will break through in good shape. May my acceptance and your guidance reinforce the hope and conviction that whatever our combined efforts will bring us, however this would impact to the pursuits and ideals of World Pulse, it would lead us a bit closer to the ideals of women empowerment, for the greater good of humanity.

Please hold my hand now and let’s get going …

Sincerely,
Emie Zozobrado
