Let's break the stigma associated with infertility.

It can be very challenging when a woman or a couple struggles with infertility and even so depressing when their financial situation inhibits them from experiencing the joy of parenthood.

Additionally, in many countries especially in developing countries, infertility is stigmatized and seen as a source of shame. In some societies, infertility is believed to be associated with witchcraft and a promiscuous lifestyle. Such stigmas have only worsened the already difficult psychology life of those struggling with infertility.

The challenges mentioned above can be emotionally, financially and physically draining which can lead to complex feelings of anxiety, failure, depression, blame and isolation.

As head of EEF (NGO), we have a strong message to pass on, the world needs to come to that realization that childless women are not outcast, they are our sisters, our neighbors, our cousins, our aunties, our daughters and our friends, so they need our love and support each step of the way.
