About Me

Peruvian medical doctor, single mother, feminist and gender equality activist. Ekpapalek Women Project Representative.

I promote in my hometown and neighbouring areas the importance of equal access to opportunities, regardless of gender, religion or birthplace. I am always searching for stories of female empowerment I can share in the workshops I give to girls and female teenagers, aspiring to introduce them to new female role models that may inspire them. Sharing our activities as Ekpapalek Women and Ekpapalek greatly helps us reach a bigger audience and to spark the interest of possible sponsors and investors in our program to keep bringing workshops to more girls. We need to be seen. Also through a blog which sees the publication of stories aboutpersonal fights and growth. I am passionate about writing, and even more so about girls and female teenagers’ education about sexuality, STDs and the prevention of gender-based violence.

My Vision

Gender equality, equal opportunities for all, zero tolerance regarding violence, 0% maternal deaths due to unsafe abortions.
