The secret of turning failure into success in 2021 and other coming years ahead

My dear sisters, as 2020 was a challenging year for most of us here and others outside the world Pulse community, 2021 should be a prosperous year for us. Some of us here had lost hopes due to the failures that we encountered the previous years but I say, don't lose hope and stay focused.

Most people operate with the following mental model, SUCCESS > YOU > FAILURE. We see ourselves in the middle, with success on one end and failure on the other. We do everything we can to move towards success and away from failure. What if we reconfigured that model?

YOU > FAILURE > SUCCESS. Instead of viewing failure as something to be avoided, turn it into a stepping stone on the path to success and gratification.

What if today, we weren't afraid of failure and the word 'no' didn't stop us anymore?  What if we realized that failure is the secret to success?

The word 'no' doesn't have to debilitate us or you or me. InfactI, it can empower us to achieve a whole new level of greatness we never deeadre possible. We may think this is just a sales strategy, but in fact it's a life philosophy.

Whether we define ourselves as salespeople or not, we are all engaged in the sales process. We must all overcome fears of failure and rejection to be successful and achieve what we want.

In other words, success is the destination and failure is how to get there. We must see success and failure for what they truly are. They are not opposite but instead opposite sides of the same coin.

I love you my WP sisters. Happy prosperous New year!!

Dear Eseza,
This is a very profound statement. We do fear failure. But it is our most profound and dependable teacher. We learn much more from failure than we do from success. Failure makes you fight for success. Failure is the sword that gets sharpened for the battle. Failure is the process and the journey. Skills are created from failure. Failure is the fuel that creates the direction. Success is the outcome, the reward, the victory. Your post got me very motivated! Because I have some very exciting failures coming up. I'm so excited!!!
Hugs...JoMarie

Sister Jomarie,
Exactly that's it, I also had some failures that had sparked me off but failure is just the teacher to success. Thanks for commenting dear.

I agree! Failure is a part of succeeding - we learn & grow through failures and find our path that way.

Awww Eseza :)
This reminds me of some lyrics to a song by a girls' band called Mary Mary
"there will be mountains that I will have to climb, and battles that I will have to fight.
But victory or defeat is up to me to decide. For how can I expect to win if I never try??"
Spot on reflection as we step into the new year. Thank you for sharing. Stay sparkly :)

Dear Eseza,
"What if we realized that failure is the secret to success?" You have such wisdom. So many are afraid to look at failures, thinking they will prove us unable to make things happen. It takes courage to look, but then as you say so well, facing failures actually can propel us into the direction we want to go.
Love back to you dear sister,
Tam

Yes dear sister. As you say, it takes courage indeed. Very many may get sparked off by a failure they have encountered yet there's always a second chance as long as one is determined. Me personally, I know that failure can't take me off.
My dearest sister, thank you for commenting on my story.
Lots of love!

Dear Eseza,

What wise words from you, dear. I agree that failure is part of success, and we should not fear it. We learn from it, then move forward. That is the mindset of winners, overcomers, and extraordinary people like you.

Thank you for this message of hope as we face 2021. Even though the world was not ready to face the pandemic in 2020, we were able to survive it. This year, we already know how to "handle" COVID-19 (wearing masks, social distancing, etc.), we will thrive this year because of the lessons we learned last year. Please keep writing, dear!
