Economic and Leadership Empowerment

President Barack Obama's assertion that \"Africa does not need strong men, but strong institutions\" is an almost indisputable basic truth.

However, the least that can be said about the ongoing young democratization experiences on the continent, is that institutions are still weak, fragile and easy to exploit. The process of consolidation of these institutions depends to a large extent on the will of the Men led by them. It is essential, even fundamental, to identify, select and maintain in the young African democracies real and good leaders, who are effectively working to consolidate both national cohesion and institutions. Gender inequality and leadership are the major problems today which have delayed African continent development.

As a sensitized leader, I intend to initiate a project on female leadership. The goal of this project is to create new leadership capable of strengthening African institutions. The goal is also to integrate women into the leadership, by impacting 100 women per year.
