CORONA VIIRUS (COVID2019)
The most used words in 2020 are: "CORONA" and "VIRUS".
Currently CORONA VIRUS is shaking the whole planet.
Each country is gourverned by lows, but currently several laws are not applicable because of Mr. CORONA VIRUS. currently it's Mr. CORONA who runs the whole world. In professional environment several employees have the right to easily work at their homes, why? because The boss CORONA VIRUS can no longer allow large meetings.
We cannot celebrate our holidays quietly, why? Because we are waiting CORONA VIRUS to disappear. Sadder, we cannot meet to mourn ours, we cannot meet to worship, all because of CORONA VIRUS
Major international as well as national events are currently suspended until the CORONA / VIRUS problem is resolved.
world health organization provides 19 billion dollars to help countries that are affected by CORONA VIRUS
I am delighted to see how global institutions and the entire world are combining strength to fight CORONA VIRUS scourge.
However sad is my feeling of seeing a neglect of another VIRUS. This virus is more dangerous than CORONA VIRUS. But we do not put as much energy into it as CORONA.
This virus is nothing other than "VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN". "VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN" is a very dangerous virus which slows down the development of the whole of humanity. As long as “VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN VIRUS” still persists, it is impossible to speak of development and lasting peace.
If only the whole planet is mobilized to an end gender based violence as it is currently mobilized to fight CORONA VIRUS, two years are enough to an end violence done to women.
Countries, world organizations as well as big institutions must be implied in women rights as same as they are currently implied to fight CORONA virus . "VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN" is a more dangerous than CORONA virus.

hello Anita !
thank you too!
Hello Dear Esther,
How are you doing? You are quite right. It's an interesting comparison, but, yes, what a vast improvement we would see if people were as committed to ending GBV as the virus.
I hope you're safe and well, dear, and that you have a good week!
hello dear jill!
progress would be very fast. by 2022 we could have a world of equal opportunity.
yes dear .i hope you too!
Sounds like a plan to me:-)
Glad to hear it. Yes, I'm fine, thanks.

Hello dear Esther,
Thank you for sharing this! I agree - it is sad to think that we do not put as much effort into ending violence against women. It is certainly more deadly, and affects every one of our communities.
I hope you are well and are finding strength and sisterhood on World Pulse!
Warm regards,
Hannah
hello hannah !
thank you for your comment . my dear we need communities such as World pulse !
You got me thinking there, Esther. Your words pricked me. The way you have compared the attention that COVID gets with that of violence against women meant that women are really marginalized. When we get over COVID, let's be more vigorous in demanding for zero violence against women everywhere. On second thought, why wait for COVID to pass. All the more that we have to ensure that women are protected in their homes now especially during the lock down. I am preparing for a webinar on protecting women's human rights during lockdown. Hope you can attend.
You take care, sis.
Hugggs.
WOOOW paulina !

Hello, dear Esther,
Oh how true it is! What a powerful voice you have! Speak it louder, dear sister! This VAW virus has been going on for years and killed millions of women and girls, too. We stand with you!
dear keren !
thank you. when women stant together , incredible things happen. i believe it will end!
You are welcome, dear. Yes, together we can and we will!
My dear Esther,
What an insight! Thank you very much for bringing this reality to our attention.
It is highly probable that GBV has killed more women all over the world than the Corona virus and Ebola.
Keep raising our awareness! Keep raising your voice and one day we shall overcome.
More power to you.
dear kabehenda!
"one day we shall overcome" woow i like that .
