A country without safety, a clearcut security for all (especially for the lives of women and children), a world of uncertainty

Security of lives and property in our country is rather expensive, no one protects her citizen, especially women and children except you are wealthy and of means to get your own secured life and property.

I remember a personal encounter with some hoodlums who harrased us at a stop while travelling because of a tip they demanded from the driver. We were left on the road for over three hours with no mercy nor concern for the women and children onboard. It took the intervention of some villagers before we were allowed to eventually drive away later at night.

Even the random threats to lives in our major cities, is a worrisome state of existence.

Our country security is of great concern, observing the trend and ways where women living in the area where terrorism abound is appalling. There is public outcry daily in regions overtaken by violence for government to come to their aid. The future needs to be guided and salvaged by ensuring that our children are safe from this dreadful existence. At least a mother, woman or child somewhere is being killed on a daily basis in our country due to violence and lawlessness thriving in our part of the globe.

The world will be a haven if every government and its agencies across the world fight terrorism and other threats to lives and property, the safety and security for all is of essence especially of women and children.

May our lives and that of our children count for the development of nations and the world.

Esther thank you for sharing your concern on this major issue of security. truly we are left no choice by government than to be security for ourselves by being at alert at all times and pray that God protects us more. Our system needs serious strengthening. CSOs are trying but the power to be does not want corrections. i agree with you.
thank you for sharing your thoughts. World Pulse is power for us women to speak

Thank you for giving voice to something that is so obvious and such a fundamental right for all. To thrive we must feel secure . This is not possible when we face threats, sometimes physical, sometimes emotional, sometimes from others and most often from ourselves. Remain strong in knowing that love always wins!

Hi dear,
Its so sad that now we cannot relied on any leader to provide security. I personally think security is out of our reached as human.
My only is in God, that one day he turn his attention to us and make our life better.
Thanks for sharing

When I read your post, I reflect on the plight of so many displaced women in my region of Cameroon. Violence has led to very high rates of insecurity. We pray the situation will change soon for us all.
