Introducing myself and my journal

I am an African born in Cameroon.Growing up in an era of conflicts and wars devastating the African continent.I asked a lot of questions like is Africa underdeveloped because it is undemocratic?or is it undemocratic because it is essentially underdeveloped? with these questions I pursued a post graduate in Peace conflict and humanitarian studies.Over the years my career has led me in impacting community based engagement in their own peace and development. Through working nationally with young people who are underprivileged but have an eagerness for education.Internationally I worked with West Africa Civil Society Institute an organisation that operates in three focal areas capacity building and training, policy advocacy and research documentation, later I joined the Koffi Annan International Peacekeeping training Center that undertakes and delivers research and training programs that contribute to global peacekeeping operations.Personally I am passionate about working with Women /young people in post conflict societies because they posses resilience and amazing tenacity that defy their predicaments.By engaging these group of people in valued oriented skills that will enable them improve their lives, communities and nation.
