A Fulfilling Challenge

Today, the moment I have sent my last and final assignment to the 2010 VOF, I was enveloped with mixed feelings. It was like being on labor, excitedly waiting for my child to be out in this world. I am very happy that I have made it to the last race, while at the same time wondering what awaits me.

At those times when I was overwhelmed with pressing urgent tasks at work, it was such a challenge trying to find time for the diversion I have committed to pursue. I would wake up in the middle of the night to organize my thoughts and start pounding on my laptop. At times, words are too elusive...too many cluttered ideas to put together, so much to write about, but only 500 words to come up with. But despite the challenges, never did I ever entertain the thought of giving up.

The comments from the Listeners are very encouraging. Every time I get an alert that there is new comment in my journal, my heart would jump with joy! God, I wish I could personally hug the one who wrote the note. I could not thank my Listeners enough.

As the last leg of this fulfilling assignment, I would like to take this opportunity thank the whole World Pulse Team.

First of all, thank you Jensine, for giving birth to World Pulse. My admiration for you is overflowing. It takes an extraordinary woman to think of such a very rewarding venue for women's voices be heard. I could not get enough of your very inspiring articles... i read and re-read them. Your words ignite my whole being.

Thank you, Rachel. Your caring reminder always puts us on our toes. They are welcomed.

Thank you, Scott. Your expertise, your being in World Pulse clearly shows you are one of those empowered men... and we admire you for that.

Thank you, too, to all my Listeners. Without you, I may have thought nobody cares. I may have thought my involvement in World Pulse is going nowhere.

To all my World Pulse 'sisters, thank you for being there. I know, all of us are so engrossed with our individual assignments that we hardly had time to read and learn from each other's journals. I know, we will find time for that, soon.

We have started a Voice... and that Voice will be heard, through World Pulse! There is no other way but GO FORWARD!!!
