We safeguard the rights and dignity of women  and girls by engaging norms & culture upholders in d rural areas. It's our aim that every harmful traditional practices end in our generation. But is HARMFUL TRADITIONAL PRACTICES ? Harmful traditional practices are forms of violence which have been committed primarily against women and girls in certain communities and societies for so long that they are considered, or presented by perpetrators, as part of accepted cultural practice. The most common are female genital mutilation (FGM) and forced or early marriage etc  #endFGM #EndChildMarriage #endgbv

Dear Evelyn,
It is so good to know that women in rural villages are being brought this support, with the message that all forms of violence can and must end. What important work. The pictures are great to see, too.
