Changes Required In Pakistan's Education System

Every educated person can point out the major flaws in the education system of Pakistan, due to the sheer number of these lacks. To name a few, we have the mentality of the rural population towards education, financial crises that prevent families from letting children go to school, unhealthy expectations of students from society.

Even after establishing that a solution is much needed, there’s still a need to understand what are the kinds of changes that need to be made in the education system of Pakistan.

Here are the 4 greatest developments required from Pakistan’s education sector:

  • Improving the quality of education in all boards. Every education board in Pakistan should meet international standards. The people of the country prefer having their children take exams like GCSEs instead of local exams and this is something that needs to change.
  • The expenditure on education should increase. The government should invest more in the education sector to increase literacy rates.
  • More people should be offered opportunities to study with scholarships and aids. A large population in Pakistan falls below the poverty line, meaning that all of those people will not be able to afford formal education. It’s the responsibility of the state to provide such people an opportunity to turn their lives around.
  • The teaching staff should be kept under strict control to prevent ghost employment in public schools. Many government teachers receive salaries for jobs they don’t do and that stands as a glaring problem.

There are, no doubt, countless more changes that can positively influence the development of Pakistan’s education system. Nevertheless, the four points explained above hold the greatest importance.

Students who are struggling with the examination system of local boards like the Federal Board and Lahore Board can start using tutoria.pk for their exam preparation. This resource offers high-quality material that will save the Federal Board, Lahore Board, Karachi Board, etc. from poor studying methods.
