Why I Joined this group.

\"I
I teach lifeskills to women and gifts to make them financial independent so that they can take care of themselves and their children

I am Feka Parchibell, a Cameroonian, teacher and gender activist.
I had joined the World Pulse community but because I was very tech ignorant, I was very inactive and I don't use the account. I met with some friends who encouraged me to join and become active and I told them how tech ignorant I was and they all encouraged me that they also began like me. I took it as a challenge and came back with the anxiety and steam to explore, learn, share and be heard. I am now on World Pulse, ready to do great exploits.
I am interested in fighting for the rights of women and the girl child as well as in the sexual and reproductive health of women and girls. Women are girls are not respected due to some traditional and cultural values. The man is almighty even in the legal system of my country. It's very normal for a man to beat up a woman and go without punishment. I have experienced this personally. I reported it to the legal department but they didn't solve the issue till date. The health of women is an eyesore as they live under very poor hygienic conditions. My mission is to see that women are respected and treated like human beings with equal rights to everything. I also want a Cameroon where women have a say on their health issues. They can decide on the number of children they want to have and they can also have proper medical attention and care.
I wish to connect with as many people as possible, learn and get solutions to solve issues in my community.
