Production of washable Pads to Keep girls in schools and women, healthy.

I am currently training and distributing washable pads to women and girls across Cameroon. This is due to the fact that, many girls are not comfortable during menstruation and because of the inconveniences, most of them prefer to stay at home until the end of their periods before they can go back to school. The girls too are unable to take part in Physical Education and other Sports because they consider menstruation a hindrance. The women too are not left out as many of them can't afford 600 frs CFA to buy pads during their periods. They use papers, dirty foams, rags etc which leaves them most times with infections.
Through St. Mary di Rosa Academies in the U.S., I got the training on the sewing of the pads and I also got the complete kits which is made up of pants, pads and savon. I distribute to women and girls in areas where we can't have sewing machines. In areas where we have sewing machines, I train the women to produce their own pads. I am also trying to get the girls involved in Sports and Physical Education because menstruation is not an obstacle. It's part of us and it makes us the great women we are.
I have distributed and trained in some areas in the Centre Region, South West Region and North West Region of Cameroon. The need is very high and I have very little means to meet up with the needs.
I need sewing machines, flannel or skinfriendly materials, towels, scissors, tables, measuring tapes for the production of the pads. I also need need sports attire to encourage the girls to do sports despite their periods. I would be very grateful with your donations.
