MOMENTS OF HOPE

Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen.  What gives me #Hope are things like My abilities: I can talk, I have hands and feet that I can use to do things and make it in life. Self esteem: My dreams like what I will like to become in future. My education: I can read and write and I believe with that I won't stay at the back bench. Inspiration from others. When I see others prospering in life, I know I won't be an exception. Others inspire me by giving me words of encouragement especially world pulsers. Above all my God gives me #Hope through his word that I read everyday. When I think too of the current sociopolitical crisis prevailing for more than three years in the two anglophone regions of Cameroon, it makes me remember all the atrocities committed but with #hope I think things will be fine sooner. Just taking a look at the picture of the first and second world wars, people suffered, others died but all the generation wasn't lost. Keep #hope alive.

Really! As far as we are alive, we hope for the best
All is well by God's grace sister Nene. What about you?

Hello, dear Felicitas,

What a lovely post from a grateful heart! You are looking at your abilities as a source of hope. It's counting your blessings, what you have, rather than looking for what you don't have. You are so right, dear! There are many people who can't talk, can't use their hands and feet properly (my son included). Having these abilities is enough to move forward in life.

I also believe that God is a Source of Hope. From personal experience, I don't know how to survive without faith, grace, love, and hope. Thank you for sharing this with us. I pray that the crisis in Cameroon will already end. Let's keep hoping!

Hello karen. Thanks for going through this. We use what we have while hoping for better days in Future.
What about your son? What's the problem he's facing? Whatever the case, just encourage him. For God will see us through.

You’re welcome, dear. My son has developmental delay. He is nonverbal with weak muscle tone. I’m grateful that we can finally start his therapies this month.

Thank you, too!

Oops! Courage my dear.
I'm sorry about that.

Thank you, love. It's a blessing in disguise. I am fond of children with special needs because of him.

Dear Felicitas,

It is such a heartbreaking situation in Cameroon but as you rightly put it, we have hope that things will change. May we continue to keep our hopes up. Thank you for sharing this with us.
