Women, mothers, let's be vigilant

MIRIANE RAÏSSA DJOUM NGUIENG

Hello everyone,

I come back after a period of absence. For people living in Cameroon like me, you have certainly seen on social media some publications relating to rapes on minors, especially little  girls. The most recent is that of a little girl aged 3 years. His rapist, 30 years old.

I shed some tears.

How are we going to protect our children?

This man has certainly been put in prison, but this little girl, will she live?

I exhort you on this day, be very vigilant with our children. Let's talk a lot with them. May God watch over our angels and give a  total healing to this little girl.

Hi Raissa,

Glad to have you back, dear! Did you see Marie's latest post? I think she's taking care of the girl that you're referring to. This is her post: https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/marie-abanga/posts/90632

yES AND YOU MUST NOW WORK HARD FOR KIDS PLEASE

Hello, Raisa,

That's really sad. We have cases like that in the Philippines, too, despite having a law on violence against women and children. It does make my blood pressure shoot in anger. I ask the same question on how we as a society can protect our children. It's sad when the suspect only gets imprisonment while the victim will be dealing with the trauma for the rest of her life. Thanks for speaking up on this important topic.

Hi Raissa,
It is good to see that you have come back and been in touch. Many of us are aware of so much that is taking place in Cameroon, thanks to World Pulse sisters like you sending out the news. The rape of a three year old girl. How can this happen? Stories of so many very young girls being raped in so many countries are the stories that keep us working hard together to create change. May this little one be in the ams of loving women to help her heal.
