Inclusiveness and advocacy for recognition can only come with a fight

they torment us
they hate us they pretend to love us
they earn form our names
yet they want to deny us

With money everyone is acceptable
i the early 90's People Living were shunned
discriminated and left for the dead

To date women and men are running to work with them
yes there is money
where there is quid men will cook
look at the cafes and restaurants
chefs are now men
at home cooking is taboo

What a shame
even counselling and home based care is a taboo for men
a women's area
when its paid for men came on board
a bicycle accompanies it

what a shame
money money money
for men
women welcome when there is no money and food
women are good in voluntary work
come payment they are the ones with less qualifications and
demobilized

what a shame
more recognition of women brings change
support one woman a whole village benefits
seems the old adage does not mean anything to current leaders
corruption is the order of the day

What a shame
women are better persons held in trust
men don't care and destroy the basics
how about the advanced
women start with basics and uphold the advanced

there is hope at the end of the tunnel
groups of women join efforts
collect and contribute oto a revolving fund
saving from the little they have
improving households
making a difference in livelihoods

the voice is up
we shall be in arms against abuse
yes we speak and demand recognition and respect
yes we speak and must be respected
yes we speak for us and our folk
we must change the culture
silence never build Rome
we must beat silence from our homes
yes we must use our pedagogical skills to change the culture
that we have kept in place

We are the gate keepers of culture
and thus must open the gates to new traditions
that allow women to eat pock, chicken, fish, grasshoppers, eggs
the most nutritious of foods for ages denied them
we grow the food we done earn from them
women to earn income and be respected
women's work to be valued

Fight the good fight women
Jon hands stop pulling her down
unless she is against women
teach her that her folks are very intelligent
And can do any job on planet earth

Just confidence
one of the life skills is required to propel her
lets join hands and ensure they survive the epidemic of exclusion
we must engage the world
alive and kicking
we cant wait to be extinct like the Red Indians
or continue to be threatened like Aborigins
we must stay alive
yes we must survive
