Children learn on their on own pace.

I am an advocate of the subject matter.Never compare any child's ability or disability with others.

They learn when they want to learn and achieve greatly on their pace.

We as teachers are to encourage them by identifying their strength more than their weaknesses.

Welcome to World Pulse Flozzy! Yes I completely agree with you. I wish more adults treated children with this respect. It bother me so much when adults speak of children’s struggles in front of them - they are listening! Show respect and love and let them grow at their own speed!

Dear Flozzy,
A big welcome to World Pulse! It is wonderful to know that you are there teaching children with such wise philosophy. The children who get to have you as a teacher are lucky. And for all of us, the reminder that judging can be so limiting and hurtful is an important message.

Hello Flozzyb,

Firstly, welcome to WorldPulse and taking the step to publish your first post.

Thank you for raising this important topic. I am an educator and have trained both young and old.

I have realized that humans don't learn at the same pace, in fact, each style of learning is different.

The more we respect these differences, the easier it is to teach any concept, the better it is to design our subject to fit their pace and style.

How can we get more educators to be aware of this fact and help them to design their classes to respect this dynamism?

I can't wait to read more from you.

Regards,
Fash.

I agree but it is so difficult to ignore the rat race the world is trying to push us into. Being a mother with small children I know its value. Thanks for sharing and caring.
