Inspiration

I am inspired.

If I never say it again, if I never write it down for you read – just know that I feel it in my heart. I feel that inspiration crackling through the veins of each and every one of you wonderful women.

Each day, I touch tufts of soft wool from the blanket of love you spread over me and drink in the milk-whiteness of our sisterhood; a sisterhood that teaches and is taught; a sisterhood that serves and saves; a sisterhood through which we can laugh, loathe, love, live, leave the past and begin anew.

There is reason why they called it World Pulse; because each one of us flows through the pulse of one body, one vision, one world. And each one of us is making a difference, in our own way – small as the capillaries underneath our skin, or large as the veins that carry that pulse. Some are changing our chaotic world by speaking up and others are changing the world within by listening to their own voice. Regardless of what we are doing on this journey, let’s never lose the feeling of that pulse beating a one-two beat within our hearts.

My dear women, we have come together to show that regardless of location, language, colour or character, we can be sisters.

We can survive.

We can speak.

We can inspire.

Inspiration is the breath that you transfuse into my lungs each day, quickening my pulse with warmth that confirms that I am ALIVE!

I breathe in life; all of your lives.

I am inspired.
