Reflections :- The Empowerment Institute

I rememberafter my Bachelor of Arts Education degree in Adult Education,it was time to get a job; I tried telling everyone that I needed a job but the responses I got were not so encouraging because of my course of study, (Adult Education). They all believe I should just settle for anything, because the course is not worth much though no one said it to my face but I knew[c].
I decided to stop giving just anyone my CV. I went out, gave it my best shot and believed. After more than a year of waiting though I was running a PGD[d] program at the time, I did not register for the full time option because I believe I will get that job I desired before finishing. One day, one of the ladies in my PGD class called and said there is a job interview she would want me to attend which I did. The most important skill they required was knowledge of Microsoft Word and excel which I’d learned in my time of volunteering in my local church due to program planning for the church and that was how I got my dream job with an American company paying more than my wildest imagination and I was the happiest person in the world.
Before this job, I had worked in all sorts of places like a bakery, Car sales company but I held on to my belief and mindset that I will get my dream job which I did.
