My Changemaking Resources

Resources I am most proud of:

Resistance Assets

My faith in Jesus, is the anchor in my life; understanding and trusting the finished work of JesusChrist. This has been my driving force even if things get bad I always draw my strength in the finished work of the cross, that I am a victor. My name ‘Gaofenngwe’ ,which means never defeated, also is a constant reminder of these truth. Regardless of what I face I know that, that particular circumstance will never defeat me. Even though my name refers to God, saying He is never defeated therefore I also stand on this: that I will never be defeated.

Familial Assets: I have a great support from my husband, since the organization is still new we don’t have any funding so I have to run it through the resources in my family. I am grateful to my husband because he gives me time to do whatever I want to do, even if it doesn’t bring income. He also supports me emotionally and encourages me when it gets tough. If I need anything to be printed he does it for me, even editing of documents. Any finances which are needed he provides, he is doing all these but still taking care of me and our homely needs, making sure that I am comfortable and I am forever grateful to him.

Professional/community Assets:

The experience from S &CD will be very crucial when it comes to working with the community, on how to approach them, understanding the structures which are My professional experience is in different sectors which are directly related to the vision of what I am pursuing (supporting women and girls to reach their highest level of learning/education).I have worked as a teacher for two years, both at junior and senior secondary school.
