- " Look at you ! You've gained a lot of weight.It's not healthy.
- You should lose weight. You should do this and that and whatnot....
- You would be so pretty if you were thin"
This list goes on unfortunately. For your information she knows she has gained weight and trust me she has put her mind through hell for that.
But now slowly, bit by bit she has started loving herself. So she's better off without your negativity.
So next time you see her it's ok to acknowledge she's chubby. But it's really not necessary to express your close minded opinion that only being skinny is beautiful.
Fortunately, her mom and dad has already taught her that all body shapes are beautiful and they've made her understand the value of loving yourself.
So with all due respect, as a 20 year old she is begging "you" as in this harsh society to stop fat shaming, skinny shaming and for godsake stop body shaming her and him.
Stay awesome ❤️#stopbodyshaming
Dear Soul
Don't mind them! They forgot fatness is also a blessing from God. He promised his people will eat good food and be fatten. Thanks for sharing dear. Humans will always critize no matter what.
Don't give them a listening ear. Have a great weekend.
Hugs

You welcome dear :-)
Dear Soul
Thank you very much for sharing. Actually, be strong, not care other voice.
I am strong now( ◜‿◝ )♡ and I am starting to not to get bothered about it too much (◠‿◕)
Hi Soul, thanks very much for sharing. It's a daily struggle for many girls and women. I think our society has a big role to play on how we define beauty. Some women go to the extend of harming themselves just to be accepted according to the world's definition of beauty, which is "fat is ugly and slim is beautiful"
That's most worries me the most too. Now when I think about it if people close to me had given me a positive thoughts on my weight gain, I wouldn't had to go through a period of hating myself:-\ . I just don't want anyone else to suffer for other's default thinking the way I did:-)
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts ❤️
Hello Soorya,
How are you doing, dear? I hear you on body shaming. I'd like to think it gets easier as we get older, but I'm not so sure, although, I think, in general, as we get older we care less what others think and we're more outspoken about not liking it, too. Both are a good thing until shaming ends.
Hope you're doing well, and having a great weekend!?

I'm fine:-)
How are you?
I think you are right about that because my mom also said the same to me that as I get older these things wouldn't bother me I would be more comfortable with myself. I am waiting for that day
:-D:-D
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts ❤️
I'm doing well, dear. Thank you!
Yes, I hear you! In the meantime, perhaps you can think about where these comments come from. Usually, and most likely, it comes from a person's own insecurities about themselves. As soon as we can think about challenges, or perceptions, in a different way, it can lessen the struggle and irritation.
You're very welcome, dear. You've got this!
