Lady in red gown

She had long long beautiful hair and sparkle in her eyes which had innocence and concern. She was always there to protect the treehouse that she built for me. There were days filled with storm, wind, rain, and thunder. But she always protected me by guarding my treehouse with a smile. She told me that I'd be safe inside the treehouse rather than going into the woods and I believed her.

But the treehouse made me feel lost and disconnected. Her false hopes of safety made me lose my identity.

I always wondered what it would be like going into woods. Maybe I will feel happy? Or maybe I will feel sad? I could even get into danger. But would that make me feel better than being numb and lost?

But then looked down from my treehouse and there she was with her beautiful red gown and a sparkling smile.

Stay awesome
