"Live in relationship in India

India is never going to be a developed or free country. Until we are free to love whoever we want. (on one aspect) Loving someone and how we wanna take that relationship should be completely our decision and we should not be subjected to be shamed for it.

Recently in Punjab and Haryana High Court, it was held that : "Live in relationship morally and socially not acceptable" The petitioner, Gulza Kumari claims that they apprehended danger from their parents. They might have gone to the police station first and approaching the court would have been their last resort. Guess what? the judiciary is giving up on her.

No matter who you are. It's right to feel safe and protected in the country you live in. Well, what happens when that is denied to you?

Live in a relationship is not a sin but it's people who are loving each other and they want to take their relationship in their accordance.

However, in  Indra Sarma v V.K.V Sharma, it was held that live in a relationship is not a sin or a crime. And in S.P.S Balasubramaniam v Sruttayan it was held that children born out of live-in relationships are not illegitimate.

My point of view: There are two aspects here. One where they refused to understand the changing times and one where people are willing to bring a better world and we can witness a positive change also. And I guess everyone will be able to live a better life if we keep an open mind and broaden the scope of our understanding of certain things and also educating ourselves with changing times. As I have mentioned before also.
