My journey

I come from Togo, in West Africa. A social scientist with experience spanning the areas of sociology, information and communication science, and education sciences, I have worked in sustainable and agricultural development areas as well as in publichealth for at least 20 years. My fields of expertise are in the areas of research, project design and management, analysis and evaluation and communication for development as well as in gender issues. Digital media have reinforced my capacities and impacted my life in many ways. Thanks to them, I have been able to join a global network and gain more self-confidence. They have also allowed me to network with like minded people, learn and exchange resources with them.

I’m passionate about social justice, equity and sharing. I like sharing resources, information, learning with people I meet. I like nurturing people and helping them to get the best out of themselves.

I conduct research and my research interests are in the areas of gender issues, community led interventions, care to disabled elders, etc. I have worked on issues related to care to disabled elder people and I have shared outcomes of my work on blog. Some of the questions are related to what can be done to help them in a quickly changing word. I have also prepared and facilitated face-to-face and online training on the topic.
