The most appropriate time to start a journey in Tech

My tech journey started at the most appropriate time

Few months ago I picked an interest in technology. I realized I was lagging behind way too much in the the new technological trends and social media advancements most especially. I became facinated by the things my best friend could do on the computer.

Well... that was how I found myself feeling anxious to always learn something new and move one step further day by day. At a time like this when we are all supposed to stay at home and socially distance ourselves from people and generally the outside world, I think its safe to say IT has saved the day for me and many others around the entire globe. Thank God!! Unlike some of my peers who are finding it very difficult because they don’t know how to keep themselves busy, I have been able to talk to my computer(with my fingers) and watch it respond to me. I enjoy giving it instructions and watch it give me results. Three months down the line, I can already make a little money from designing logos and flyers (how cool is that?). I am working harder and hoping I’d be able to totally make a living off Technology in the near future.

Knowledge is power they say; I wish I knew earlier the things I know now one of which is that,  technology is not not a man’s thing and that like any art,  anybody can learn. However, it is never too late to learn a new skill.

A whole lot can be achieved with as little as basic  computer knowledge, taking online courses during this period, communicating and learning about anything you want to learn about on the internet. IT has found its way to my heart and I feel really excited about the thoughts of teaching different groups of young girls what I know in the days or months ahead.
