Hi Diane,

This is beautiful, thank you for sharing. As I read the story, I am scared till the end, but when I read her reflection and I quote:
"When Hauser had a chance to review the footage taken from that day, it was clear the humpback had no aggressive intentions towards her. As a matter a fact, it was trying to warn her of the impending shark and get her out of harm’s way" (written by Lola James). I am inspired, if only we can understand it'slanguage.

Thank you for sharing this article with us. I'm so touched by it! It's so scary and yet so wonderful to read. Whales are protective sea creatures. I love what this whale protected a scientist from danger.
