About Me

Gladys Shumbambiri is the co-founder & CEO of Intelligent Business Consultancy (IBC), a business consultancy and financial services company which focuses on enterprise and SME lending to women, Financial Education, Entrepreneurship Development and microfinance management training. Gladys was a senior Economist in the Economic Research Division of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, where she came up with the Monetary Policy Implementation Matrix, for tracking policy implementation. She is a co-author of Economic Management in a Hyperinflationary Environment and her chapter on Monetary Policy Implementation will assist nations facing a similar crisis to handle their financial sectors and macro economies.She has done Financial Literacy trainings for NGOs like the FAO. Gladys holds a BSc Economics and an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe.. She is happily married to Emmanuel and the couple is blessed with four children, Shayne, Shameika, Shelomi and Shuvael.
