My first Period

I had my first menstral experience when I was in junior 2 then 15 years of age. Even thou I had a friend ( 1 year junior) who was giving me some tips on menstruation but I still never got the chance of experiencing it to actually know what it is and what it takes to menstrate. So on that faiyful day 18th January 2010, my long awaited finally arrived but I was bow worried for two reasons; how do I fix it in my pant and where would I get money to buy since I was staying with my Aunt who barely careless about my sexual and reproductive health. It was now a big challenge. That same day, as I felt like urinating-shiting like, I quickly rushed into the washroom and there it was. I folded a piece of paper so I can be comfortable.

Fomany months, I continuously used the toilet tissue (roll) or dodge from school when I'm in my period because I couldn't afford then ¢1.50p which was almost twice 1dollar. In just two months (my second month) she realised I was now in my adolescent stage but what was more sad was she turned a deaf hear and pretended she hasn't notice that.

Later, an old lady whom I confided in introdt me to the usage of rag (taanchili) which I was now relying on every month. But hardly do I get a pant to fix this rag. At that time I had only two pantis of which I lost one during rain fall. So at a point, I would've to wash squeeze the in the towel so it will dry fast
