A YOUNG GIRL WITH BIG AMBITION



There is long way to go but her dream is bigger. As a young talented girl, Nimco dreams to run one most influential jobs in her country. She is very hopeful that she will manage and overcome any hardships to become Minster of Education. Because of the condition of Somalia, she thinks things will be very difficult. . Here is her full story which attracted many people.



Nimco Yusuf Abdillahi was born in Buhotle, Somalia around 2002. She is the sixth of fifteen children. She believes that education can help her with her goals. Apart from high school, she attends Quranic school, English language school, and institute for Islamic learnings. Though she is busy, she helps her mom with dishes, cooking, cleaning and many more. She is always interested in studying academic materials, history, stories, inspirational speeches and literature. Unlike many of her peers, she wants to be Minister of Education and I asked the reason. “If Allah wills, I want to give Somali younger generation a bright future through education. Since our country faced lots of setbacks, I want to create a society that is free from ignorance, injustice and inequality. I will be a different minister who fights corruption, bribery and any kind of bias. My aim is that everyone should have an access to quality education”, says Nimco.



Nimco is very extrovert person. She has a talent of being able to strike up discussions with friends, classmates and other people. She also participate activities in her school, family and even in the town. She usually tries to lead or at least become an active member of all situations. May be she has a genuine interest in people and their stories. Bright future is ahead of her.



Nimco told me that she had a great faith and confidence in herself. She said, “Everyone can shape his life, and I want to sacrifice everything to make my dreams come true. I will fight for my country to be a better place for its people”. I hope she will find where her dreams and reality collide. Have you ever dreamed like this amazing young student?
