Meeting my mentor!

Meeting my mentor!

I was septic about opening my mail when I saw it was from Racheal but I went ahead and that was it! I am selected. What a privilege! I went back to read all the comments on my post, remembering the encouragement and support… The mails were coming with more precision.
I saw my mentor name; I could not believe at first thinking it was a mistake due to my nickname. But no it is true. We bear the same name: Pat. I told myself : how are you going to call her? Where will you start with you love letter? For two days I drafted the intro but was not sure of which one to choose. It has always been difficult for me to talk or write about myself. But this time it is a love letter to my Mentor and I owe it to her but to myself too… so I decided to go ahead no matter how bad it would be.
And today just I had my first contact with my mentor. I am so happy. She is so lovely... So cheerful, I feel I know from very long. The shyness turned to happiness and admiration as she was explaining what our relation will be.
My editorial midwife is just awesome! I can’t believe she has been able to achieve all the work she id doing. I see trough her that only the sky is my limit.
I just couldn't keep the joy for myself and rushed to write about it. It is the first time in my life someone is available and ready to coach me, listen to me … I feel home on WorldPulse. I have a family here. I am listened here and whenever I feel overwhelmed I just have to log-on read one post of any of my sisters and I receive the pulse I need. I am happy to belong to WorldPulse.
I hope my fellow sisters have been able to reach their mentor and midwife.

The journey has indeed just begun!
