About Me

Am a Sociologist born in Buikwe District of Uganda. Although I had an opportunity to go to school, many girls back home failed to complete school because they did not have the financial resources and social support needed. It against this that we embarked on an initiative to raise awareness on the need for girls to access education. Together with a few young graduates we started an in school initiative to raise awareness on sexual reproductive health rights, menstrual hygiene management, making of reusable pads and violence prevention. This alone is not enough, young girls especially victims of sexual abuse or orphans run to us seeking for financial support to continue with their education. Using my little income, I started by paying school dues for a young girl who is now in Primary Six. I believe through this platform, we could find more people willing to support, sponsor and mentor young girl.

My Vision

My vision is to see more vulnerable girls access education, and life skills for those that dropped out of schools.

Needs

Am seeking support in form of mentorship and sponsorship of these young girls. This includes skills building and school dues.
