Me Amor (poem)

Me Amor

When in cold and dark lonely nights I go out on the roof. I feel as if I am just a shadow walking in the moonlight. As if my body and soul is residing at some other place.

My shadow will look in the night sky which is covered with clouds and feel pain.

It does not understand whether the pain is because of missing its body and soul or of dark black night sky.

The shadow feels there is a connection between her and night sky. She waits and long for the moon to come out of those dark gloomy clouds.

When moon comes out and it spread silver light on black sky, it starts dancing like a lunatic. That’s the time when she realizes; why she is feeling so lonely and sad. She realized that the pain of sky was coz of moon which was hidden behind the clouds. The sky was missing the moonlight which enchances as well as, add beauty and life to night.

Similarly, the shadow is lonely and sad without you and your love

Me Amor, you are just like moon is to a dark black night sky. You add life and hope in this shadow which is like a ghost lost in lonely night in this world in your absence.

Hello Sabi,
Your poem makes me think of how important it is to have light in our lives. It makes me think of World Pulse and all the people here encouraging each other with love and comments to bring a little light. Thank you for being that light in World Pulse. For being part of World Pulse 'Me Amor'. Your love and comments bring light.
Keep shining and blasting the darkness!

Thank you for sharing Queen.

Hello, Sabiha,

This seems to be a poem of lost love. Is this dedicated to someone? What inspired you to write this piece, dear?

Yes, its dedicated to a American Christian man, I met him last year online. We became friends but he was in love with me. Finally, I feel love for him. When he was busy working for a week, no contact. I ended up writing it. After 20 years I wrote a original piece. Thanks to him for giving me back my creativity

Oh, that's sad that he went "no contact". That's what they call ghosting. Hugs to you, dear.

Hello Sabi, thanks for sharing this poem. The poem is an inspection and the persona brings out the emptiness of life without love which she compares to the night sky without a moon. We need love in order to be accomplished or complete.
