This is not a book review, its my journey while reading this book and afterthought.

I read hundreds of books but never ponder about the title. After checking the title, I decided to read it. It was sounded very romantic but then my I stopped and thought.

Wait!

OUR CHEMICAL HEARTS – Doesnt make any sense as being a biologist that too an ex research scholar. Heart is a poor organ which was blamed since ages for all romantic pain and blunder. But in reality it’s nothing just fo one most vital function i.e. pumping blood to different parts and organs of body.

It doesn’t not produce any chemicals, plus all centre for feelings are located inside brain and hormones released by either brain or sex organs.

So I started thinking whats this book is all about, infact towards the end the sister of main male protaginist who was a scientist said same thing.

Its a wonderful book with a very thoughtful story interested with mainly emotions and no use of logic by main characters i.e. both Graxe Town and Henry.

Grace ….A teenage girl in mourning after loosing her best friend and fiance in a car crash, who had decided to live in the shadows of past. As she assumed that she was the one responsible for the tradegy and by staying in pain is like resurrection.

Henry….. Poor boy!!! Whose life and heart are messed up when his first kiss came out as a lesbian and his first love still living in past. He was a wonderful friend and lover, ready to do anything just to get his love. He tried his best to mend the love lorn girl. But at last lost the battle.

The best part about the female was that she realized that she is not reafy to move in and stayed away. Because in real world, soon after break up people start a new relationship. Such sort of flings dont last long and may end up breaking the partner.

Her decision had done a favour to Henry, she saved a heart break, pain, broken relationship in which he must have invested his precious time and emotions.

A message for all lovers who had decided to live in mourning due to the failure of a relationship, if ever you end up meeting a guy like Henry.

Then kindly give it a chance and also give a second chance to yourself to be happy. As you have one life and should not waste it for a person. You have all the right to be happy, also when you will be happy all your friends and family will be happy. So you are not building a happy life for yourself but instead, you are sending out a positive vibe out there in the universe.
