Disappointments and God's Plan.

Social media has a way of making people look like they are always winning (that is what they want you to see). It is not always the fact. I want to share what I called losing but what was actually God's plan. In 2012, I applied for a prestigious fellowship, I was shortlisted, reached the final stage and attended the interview. It was devastating to get a friendly but hot rejection email. Many of you know what I am talking about. I was upset for weeks, asked myself what could I have done better, I hosted a self pity party. When I snapped out of that mood, I accepted it was not God's plan for me. Past forward a few years later, I got an email from the same prestigious organisation, had a meeting in my office and was asked to be a mentor for the same program I was rejected years before with mentees from different countries. In an unrelated connection got 2 years funding from the same Government that led the fellowship that rejected me. What did I learn and need to keep reminding myself and you? Disappointments is based on expectations and NOT God's plan. Keep digging, keep going, keep building. Congratulations to everyone who is actually winning and for those who feel disappointed, have your pity party but quickly snap out of it because the sky is your limit. The best is yet to come.#mytruth #realstories #iamabuilder #hauwaabbas

But, most important thing is our hardwork, team work and net work. Dear please share us what is your next plan. You are depedning up on god plan or somethings other else ??

It is actually true. We grew up with simple life's principles like : EVERY DISSAPOINTMENT IS A BLESSING; and : WHEN GOD CLOSSES the door he opens a window: this is just a reminder for us to know that GODS word is final in your life so never give up at the least obstacle keep pushing until you get the desired results # FIGHTINGSPIRIT#

Hi Hawwah thank you for this advice. I think its an encouragement for me,I've been working on getting some support and help for girls I work amongst in my community and it seem as though am not doing anything, and a whole lot,but am encouraged knowing that God's plan for me and all I do will manifest in its time. We will keep holding Hawwah thanks.

Hi Hayward your story is inspiring and gives me hope .I love these words :Keep digging, keep going, keep building. Lets today's disappointment don't cast you down it's a shadow of tomorrow's dreams God has a better plan. Throughout your life, you’ll be faced with many disappointments. Perhaps you’re dealing with a disappointment right now. Whether someone you trusted and loved let you down, whether something in your work or business didn’t go right, whether your life isn’t where you want it to be – life just seems to have a way of kicking us when we’re already down. It strengthens us.

Hi sister!
Happy you share your experience with us. Ita true life doesn’t go the way we think because our thinking is different from Gods thinking. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Huawa, it is said that disappoinments aee a blessing in disguise. I admire your courage after having been disappointed. We may think that we have lost it all once we are disappointed, but God's plan is always different.
Thanks for encouraging all of us to all look beyond mere disappointments.
