16 Days Campaign against VAWG

I remember, with so much nostalgia.

The poem that won the writer's award of the 16 Days activism against VAWG of 2019; I STAND WITH HER.

It was pretty much one of those pieces written on a whim, without much thought or grandiosity.

They were words that flowed from the deep recess of my heart straight unto the keyboard without any barriers.

That single win is the key that unlocked to door to many blockages.

For this and several other things, I remain grateful to world pulse and everyone on it.

For this year, we are doing something different. Gathering endorsements for the campaign and creating a feature article on it at the end of the 16 days.

To participate, kindly read the article on the website https://sheroes.ng/news/2021/11/26/days-activism/ and create your own campaign picture.

Then post on all your social media handles, and tag sheroes.ng, WorldPulse, UNWomen, and OrangeTheWorld stating your commitment to the fight against VAWG.

Join the campaign. Together we can end this scourage. Together, we can create a gender-equal and violent free world.

YES, we can.

Dear Hawwah,
Congrats on your poem winning in 2019. Each of these achievements is proof that your voice is being heard, and inspiring others. As we do what we can through this 2021 Orange the World, thank you for the information and link here, making it easier to jump in. May we all feel each others' presence as we speak out these next days, and may we be successful in opening the path wider, for the world we know is possible.
