Finding me

Finding myself and being confident and comfortable in my abilities and capabilities took almost forever; but the most important thing is; I did it.

Circa 2018, I was invited to a public speaking club called the Toastmasters.

I went there as a guest, and was clapping for all the good speakers and participants of the day.

Midaway into the prgram, I was selected as one of the guest speakers (without being consulted).

I got up, walked to the podium and poured my heart out in answer to the question, 'as an adult, what it is you would have done differently from when you were a child'?

My response was simple, true, and honest. And I came first place.

I was suprised, because I didnt prepare for it. But I was also not suprised, because I'd always known I could do and achieve anything i set my mind to.

Somehow, I have always believed in me, just as I believed everyone can achieve great things if they so desire.

You see, each and everyone of us  has got value to give, all they need is the opportunity and encouragement to give it.

There has never been a time when the world needs these values from everyone to enable her overcome the perilous times as now. Now is the time for each one of us to discover thier real selves and super power.

I want everyone out there to know and believe that they matter, they have a value, a strenght and a role in this life that only them can play; especially Girls and women.

Even thought your society tell you otherwise, I need you to know, you are created for much more, you are capable and more than what they will every say or believe.

Just believe it and you can achieve it.

Find your super power. And let it grow.

Kindest of thoughts

Hawwah

Absolutely Anita. We have been silenced for too long for no just cause.
We have been suppressed, controlled and coereced into non-existance.
Now it is time to grow.

Hello Hawwah,

How are you doing, dear?

Yes, you did do it! I hear you. I feel like I will always be learning and evolving as long as I'm still on this earth!

Very cool! Thanks for sharing, and great job!!!

You're right... everyone does have special gifts/super powers and they just need support and encouragement! I totally agree that it's time to discover these and help the planet rise up!

Thanks for the great, and inspiring words of encouragement! They are definitely words to live by.

Hope you have a great day, and rest of the week!

Hello, Hawwah,

Wow, Toastmasters! Congratulations on coming first place! I love this, " I have always believed in me, just as I believed everyone can achieve great things if they so desire." It supports my personal belief that when we are kind to ourselves, we extend that kindness to others. When we believe in ourselves, we also can believe that others can. :)

Thank you for inspiring us with your post. Please continue writing!

Hi Karen,

Yes, toastmasters.
I would be joining them as a member when I return after my studies.
Irrespective of the disappointments that keep coming, I am getting more and more confident in myself everyday.
And that is reassuring.

Awesome, dear! Do you have to pay to join Toastmasters in your area?

I’m happy to know you’re becoming the best version of yourself. :)

Hi Hawwah,
What a great encouragement to trust what we know down deep we are capable of doing. I have heard good stories about Toastmaster. I love how you describe it bringing you to public speaking, and that you turn it right around to encourage us here. Your video shows what a natural you are. You had the audience laughing in the first 30 seconds!
