Even though the UN only adopted 8th March as International Women's Day in 1977, but the history of 8th March began way back in 1909.
And the history of women's struggle for equality goes back even further,
This is a clear indication that the battle for equality for women is an age long struggle which is still not yet realised.
And it is now more than ever that I realise that, even though the battle is long and hard, it is achievable.
On this day, 8th March 2020, I say to women all over the world,
YOU MATTER.
YOU HAVE VALUE.
YOU ARE ENOUGH.
