After the talk

It's almost a month since the Aspire Reinvent conference wheen myself and Karen Quinones-Axalan received a standing ovation. Yet, it took me this long to bring my acknowledgement and gratitude to this amazing sisterhood (I beg your pardon about that)

Both I and Karen went through lots of anxiety and panic, wondering whether we would be articulate enough to deliver our points well. And we also prepared presentations that were not presented, because when we went live, we just flowed from the heart. This is possible because of the amazing support and confidence building we have received from world pulse, especially for me. I have struggled to find my voice for years, I only discovered it on the world pulse.

This is a thank you note from me to all world pulse sisters. Thank you for the support, the encouragement and the cheer.

Thank you for lifting us up and being there to cheer us in a rousing ovation.

Thank you for this sisterhood and love.

Indeed, the future is female. Women will win. Women will lead. Women will triumph.

And they are being groomed on WROLD PULSE.

Thank you very much, Jill.
I must be honest, I would not have been able to do this without World Pulse.
This feat and many others to come is all because I have found this amazing community of women who uplift and inspire.
The credit is YOURS too.

Dear Marie,
Thank you for your kind words.
Vulnerability is strength, I am so happy I have realised that.
It is my hope that every woman will understand that too.

Hello Hawwah,
It was absolutely memorable and uplifting to listen to you at Aspire. You had a powerful message, but above that, you brought your authentic self and connected with so many women experiencing opposition, hostility and yet finding courage. Thank you, for being you.
On the words on the above photo, I was confused as to why you term your daughter as orphaned.
Do continue in courage and purity of intentions, That is beautiful!

Dear Nini,
Thank you very much for your kind words.
My Daughter was born after her father's death, that's why I mentioned that she is orphaned.
We (Myself and her) have all those years lived with the belief that being orphaned is a weakness and incurable vulnerability.
Because that's what we have been taught. I am just recently discovered that is a strenght.
World Pulse has convinced me that.

Hello, Hawwah my sister,

The whole Aspire Reinvent experience brought us together. How lovely that a friendship has been formed between us, and although the event had been concluded, our friendship remains. That for me is a greater gift, that I found a friend and a sister in you. :D It was such a wonderful time to walk alongside you from our preparation for the presentation and even being given a standing ovation. Amazing, right? I love that we were both there for each other.

I am so proud of you, dear sister! Yes, I join you in giving thanks to this wonderful sisterhood. Congratulations! More wins! Hugs!
