Oh !!! My mask.

My smile hides my tears. My laugh hides my screams. It's been this way for years. Things aren't as they seem. I always seem so happy. With not a care in the world. But you should know, sadly Many things go untold. Nobody really knows me. They only know my cover. But I wish I could let it free. Let them know what's under. But instead, I practice My smiles in the mirror. Then the next thing I do is Make my fake laugh clearer. What is wrong? You need help? Is all they will ask. So I have decided To live behind a mask.

You are welcome Sister.

Hello, dear Helen,

You just described the kind of life I lived before. :) Please write what makes your tear fall, what makes you scream. Your World Pulse sisters are here. This platform is created for women to unburden themselves. You can overcome this, dear. I've been there, too. Hugs!

Dear Chidinma,
You speak so well for what is so often under the surface when we are in public. Some people will not understand this struggle but through your words this dilemma becomes clear. Find the people who want the real you. Here, no need for a mask. We love you for the poet you are.

This is too much pain to live with. Is there no one you can turn to in your local community? Please know that the World Pulse community stands with you.

Thank you Beth .
