Edible Cutlery

This fascinating innovation was brought to life in 2010 to combat the excessive waste and plastic that go to landfills. A majority of individuals, especially those in North America tend to use our cutlery one and then throw it away. Fortunately, even if these edible spoons and forks are not consumed, they will degrade in approximately 4 or 5 days, and do not have specific conditions for degradation. Just 1 regular plastic spoon takes the same amount of energy to produce 100 of the sorghum based spoons. Hopefully these special, biodegradable spoons, forks, and knives will be soon be popularized by other countries to aid in reducing the damage plastic is doing to our health and the world around us.
