Being a community mobilizer is a pleasure

Thanks so much sisters for the great job you have done in my life. U have made me realise that I can do something helpful for my community (dream). In my life I always taught I was a loser but my loving sisters have disproved me. This gave me a second taught that I should go inn for HIV/AIDS testing and counselling in other to add to my community mobilizer. With this I attended a training on HIV/AIDS testing and counselling. While in the field I get in contact with mostly the IDPs and the vulnerable because of the socio political situation at which we find ourselves. Some of these women are unable to attend their ANC because of financial difficulties. So some will stay for a long time before going for their ANC. Sisters, please join me assist these women in one way or the other, either spiritually, physically, or financially if you are touched. I will be very greatful if we will do this together. Love you all sisters.

My regard.

Good on you Honorine for rising up to be a personal kind of change maker. Helping both bodies and hearts heal as you see other women at their most vulnerable or fearful, and empathise with them and support their physical healing and soul restoration.

How can someone doing such vital work be a loser? I'm glad that you shook off the lie and embraced the truth, that you have plenty to offer. This post and those women you are serving are evidence!

Well done.

Hello, Honorine,

How are you doing? It's so great to see the shift from your last post to this one where you define community mobilizing as a challenging work and now you consider it a pleasure!

Please continue to write what is this project you dream about, sis? What kind of resources do you need?

Hi ka how are you today.Hope doing great.

Project
Background situation
Prevalent
- ANC is not sufficient in the rural areas.
- Situation made worse by the current crisis.
- Phenomenon of teenagers (IDP) falling into early pregnancy. These young girls flooding the big towns fall victim to early sex. They face a problem of sustaining themselves .
- Early pregnancy compounds the situation of single mothers.
- As a mother I am burdened to assist but my small assistance can't meet their needs.
- Government authorities are not sufficiently taking care of this unfortunate phenomenom which can only be felt by caring mothers.
- GOAL
As a community mobilizer I have identified a good number of these cases.
- OBJECTIVES
To meet the ANC financial and material needs of fifty potential beneficiaries averaging 30 000frs total ANC and medication needs.
- This can curb possibilities of abortion and deaths.
- STRATEGY
- Take identified needy cases to medical health facilities and register them.
- Follow - up ANC procedures.
BUDGET: 50 beneficiaries by 30 000frs=1.500 000frs.
Thanks for the concern.Love you.

It's great you're in the right track, dear sis! You already have a project description, goals, objectives, and targets. That's a good start. You can build this up into a project proposal. It takes research and tedious planning. One step at a time, dear. You'll get there!

Hi Ka thanks for the encouragement. Since my youthful age I have had the ambition to help my community. Since I have the mine to help and I am doing it alone I would like to ask for a favour from you. Do you have an idea about proposal writing? If yes, would you please help? I have never ask of any assistance and I am new into this.

Hello, sister, you're welcome!

That is really great, dear. Yes, I have an idea how to make a proposal. I will be sharing about tips on the Ambassadors Thriving Thursday.

I can share the presentation with you after. However, that's the only help I can give because I have a lot of responsibilities at present. Hope you understand.

Hi Jill, I'm doing just great and you?
That's exactly what I have been doing but as mother my small assistance can't meet their needs.
Secondly, governmental authorities are not sufficiently taking care of this unfortunate phenomenom which can only be felt by caring mothers.
That why I'm asking for assistance.
Love you Jill
God bless you

Hi Jill how are you, I have never ask for any since I am new in this. Just wanted to help at my own level but couldn't because of limited resources and the 1500000cfa is exclusively clinical fees. Documentation, communication, transportation, feeding is 370000cfa.
Thanks Jill for giving me your Facebook address.
Love you and God bless
You.

Dear Honorine
You are great and I appreciate all what you are doing. I like the fact that you take specific note on the needs of the vulnerable for living with that experience as I live with a disability
