Our Lady Of Sorrows vs Cameroon Of Sorrows

Which parent today on hearing that the child will be killed, nailed on the Cross, shot on the head like what is happening in the two regions of Cameron, will remain unworried? Just like Mary who escaped to Egypt for safety, how many IDPs do we have in the bushes, abroad, in Francophone regions seeking for safety from these brutal killings? How many mothers bury their children who are brutally killed by the military or estremist ambazonians? How many innocent children have been pulled out from their homes and shot in the head during this ungoing crisis?

These were the sorrows Mary too experienced. These are the daily struggles mothers in these regions ponder upon daily, where one is not sure if the next second, a bullet will bring one to his or her end? Remember us in your prayers as we celebrate our lady of sorrows. May God help us.

Honorine, Love,

How are you doing, dear?

Oh, dear:-( This is beyond horrible! Wow! I can feel, and hear, your pain!

I'm definitely including all my Cameroonian Anglophone sisters, and their families, in my daily prayers, as well as the rest of the Anglophones, for that matter. It needs to end!

Hello Honorine,
This is sad and frightening for all the people experiencing these atrocities. I would say this is beyond our lady of sorrows, because those sorrows accomplished so much, defeated darkness and flooded the world with Life and Light.
But these sorrows in your country accomplish nothing but pain and senseless grief. I am glad that you have your hope in the Rock of ages as you face fear and danger.
I wish there was something I could do dear. My prayers are with your people for divine intervention.

I will pray for you through the words of this song with a piece of Australia:

May God keep you safe and give you hope.

Hi Honorine,
Thank you for raising your voice as usual. We must not be silenced.

We'll keep praying as we are totally helpless now.

It's so, so sad, truly. The press seem not to be saying anything. The situation is horrifying. Is everybody tired of asking for a cease-fire?

May Christ have mercy on us all.

Loving hugs Sis,
E. J.

Hello, dear Honorine,

I do pray for Cameroon, and I weep every time I do. Thank you for putting imageries into what mothers face because of the ongoing crisis in Cameroon. It is truly heartbreaking. The song Nini shared brings comfort, and I speak the same prayer to you, dear. Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. Amen.
