Syrian Refugee Women in Lebanon Fight Child Marriage

It has been a while since I posted on WP, but a fruit doesn't fall far from the tree and WP remains a place that I often yarn to visit. The experiences of women from all around the world, their visions and courage, have always gave me support and patience. I am sharing today a link to my most recent story published on Voice of America, the place where I am currently working at.

When I have the time I will post an update soon.

Love to you all.

In solidarity.

Hello, Hummingbird,

Thanks for sharing your writeup. It makes me happy to know there are Syrian women refugees who are taking a stand against child marriage and are advocating to put these children back to school. Such an important and laudable movement!

You’re a great writer, by the way. Looking forward to reading your posts here on World Pulse!
