Let us put in place a support system

Empowering women and girls  has become more necessary than ever , a  mentor who encourages  and  believes in them have helped to free them from the  greatest obstacles , which is  low self esteem in which girls are held by belief passed to them by the generation before them or tradition.

I applauds the tremendous global gains made by women who can hold other women in their hands and walk the stairs by cultivating skills supporting  changes in behaviors, customs, policies in the societies around them, develop the girls and are there to  guide those efforts.

Mine is an explicit commitment to encourage girls and women to help them achieve  their dreams , as I am a product of such an ecosystem, and because this marginalized segment of the human population deserves no less,  their importance as contributors to the achievement of social and economic goals can not be overlooked, Why stand with one leg when you are balanced with two is the question. 

Learning for me as a mentor has been a handshake,  their has been a  considerable intelligence, talent,  drive, plans and aspirations, from the girls so far, given opportunity, encouragement and resources,  girls can challenge and overcome many of the limitations that are imposed upon them. The girls I have worked with have emerged the recent Global Innovators Award winner by Society of Women Engineers.
