About Me

Ireen Samalie Mutekanga is the the vice president of the Young African women congress Network, Uganda Chapter. She is so passionate about women and children the passion she developed while she was working as a research assistant in the south western parts of Uganda. she also believes that when parenting is done right ,then we can get rid of most of the social challenges in our communities and the world will be a better and safe place for all of us to live in.
she rans a Facebook page in the names of Ireen Samalie Mutekanga where she hosts The Real Chat a platform she has created for the youth to discuss issues affecting them, she also uses the page to share positive parenting tips for parents that follow her page. she is also starting up a project (the youth dream up) which will aim at skilling the youth in crocheting, knitting, beading and crafting come January 2021.

My Vision

I envision a positive, practical and more realistic generation ,by empowering Ugandans to become better and successful citizens
