Foreign Ground the article that saved my life
Foreign Ground the article that saved my life: immigration wanted to deport me but keep my children to the USA, I was only trying to get away from an abusive relationship, (we was married) , and go back home, (1/1)

immigration wanted to deport me but keep my children to the USA, I was only trying to get away from an abusive relationship,  (we was married) , and go back home,

my husband decided to not file the paper needed for me to be legal, He became violent il all sort ,

I had to call 800 numbers, while he was at work, hoping to find someone to help me escape this situation.

The last time I tried to call the police, I ran to the neighbors, they called my husband, because they were neighbors and did not want problems,

when I finally called the police, while my husband was in the house, I was told that I was going to be deported if I press the charge and that because my children were the US. citizens, they were going to stay in the USA.

So I let him go, did not file a charge, but ran away, hiding, with my children and fought against an application that was denied twice by the immigration, I was helped by the association of the coalition, in South Carolina,

and we decided to go public,

the story becomes even more strange if tell you, what and who and how I won my fight and kept my children,

I do want to say I meet another woman, in that same situation, She had 4 children,

This happened the year 200O

I have decided to go back home: France,
with my children :) after winning the fight against immigration,
it was hard on them, but they are now grown and very much happy in a beautiful city of the south, 10 minutes away from me, I still cannot separate myself from them :), I do need to say that I do not feel like I completely won the immigration fight on my own, a lot of people was by my side, but let's not forget, other women in the world, probably were deported because they did not have the chance that I had, I wish I could make a difference and save family for been separated, that is one of the reasons, I talk about it here ad this blog is wonderful, I am getting some messages that make my heart warm, I think I needed somehow that I made the right choice,

I think I forgot to tell you, that it happens when my first son was about 3, he is 30 now, but it's to remind people that this has been a problem because I believe it is one when you take the children away from a mother that truly care, and do everything to give her children a healthy life, ad it was a moment in my life that was very very hard, I can never forget,

no this happens when my first son was about 3, as you can see him in the photo, yes I have decided to go back home to France, I was just tired of fighting for everything I tried to build, even the prejudice toward me, the white women, with a french accent, with the color of my children, was a little too much for me, and I needed to returned to eat some good french cake lol, I was not sure how France, was going to receive my children, but I end up going in one of the most Magnifique city, and it a lot of young women that are in ((((looooove)))) with my boys lol, they are now a very tall and gorgeous man of 27 and 3O-year-old, lol, oh and yes I have more story coming up, I was just wondering how do I find all my stories or pages, sorry I am new here, a little confused if I wat to add a suite to it? thank you fo your message :)

You're a survivor. I'm glad you're together with your children now. Thanks for the clarification.

Dear Isabelle,
It is a hard to face challenges at home, how much more terrifying to face such an ordeal in a foreign country, away from your family or any support? But you were fighting for your two little hearts beating outside of you, and you survived and won. You brought your children to peace and safety and you got your peace of mind and some fresh ground to build life on.

Well done mama!

Thank you for taking in consideration, what was added to the pain,
the hardest one was been deported and never see my children, was I doing wrong, I was married to a man that claimed to be the one, was abused and I had made the choice to not let this happen to me and my boys, but here I was told I was the one that was to be punished because I wanted to go back home with my children, the America that my dad talk to me about so much, was now the worse decision I had made in my life to trust a country and justice to be fair, I am so so happy and proud to have taking the decision to return to France after winning the fight, but was it really fair that we had to go through this, like we were criminals, absolutely no, and I talk about this part of my life because it happens and still happens in that same country, thank you for your message :)
