Introducing myself and my journal: Silent Fingers

About Me:
“I mend myself at dawn, only to be broken at dusk by the jabbing on the soul from the weakening pulses of the World’s slowing heart."

Stemming from a country with just one-percent land and ninety-nine percent sea -- Maldives, “a self-selling Sunny Paradise” -- I seek ways to shed light into parts of the society living in the shadows of their "bargained" Hell. I aim to venture into the hushed voices of screaming hearts of the underprivileged and marginalized people -- both within and beyond my one-percent of existence.

Resurrected as Ishtar Zikr, a nomadic soul journeying through the "caravans" within the self -- sojourning at lives of voiceless strangers, I strive to spin the threads of my innermost dialects over the fibers of the world's outlying dialogue -- weaving both milieus into one unified existence, through a creative discourse.

My Passions:
Photography, Poetry, Writing, Art, Vernacular Architecture, Music, Art-house Cinema, Preservation and Conservation of Cultural Heritage, Expressions of Folklore and Traditional Knowledge

My Challenges:
Paving a "humane" path between the minds and hearts of the privileged, through "voiceless" realities prevailing in humanity.

My Vision for the Future:
A world of purged hierarchical differences -- setting an environ of fair rights and justice through equality.
