Leadership Within

I was privileged to be among the 19 women leaders around the worldto be selected for the Global Change Leaders 2017 Fellowship,at Coady Institute, St, Francis Xavier University in Canada.

Its been a great journey of learning about leadership, growing up i was a very passionate young girl, loving and kind, i have always wanted to make a difference no matter how little it is to make the world a better place.

To me leadership has always been about inspiring,and empowering others, at Coady institute i have had a chance to unlearn many things.The first two weeks we spent a lot of time onself reflection, self empowerment, and self evaluation. The trainers at the institute who are renowned women leaders have been with ushave been with us on the leadership journey and its great to get to a point where you gain self actualization as a leader.

The greatest lesson i have learnt so far is that, Leadership is from within, as women we do not have time for ourselves and even sometime off for a massage or a date with girls, we still feel guilty about it. We need to enhance ourselves in order to be strong change makers, so come on sisters lets have fun as we make the world a better place.
