Graduation Speech

Graduation Speech

My fellow elders,

The stories we want to hear tomorrow?

It all begin here

Look at my own

Step forward my dearest granddaughter

Yes! In your gown and hood

My fellow elders

The stories we want to hear tomorrow?

Are here in our own very land

The girls and the schools are here

Let us encourage them through the system

My fellow elders

Who said that women do not go to school?

Look at my very own

She can now treat each of us sick here

For she has aquired the expertise

She can bring a big staight road here

For she has the ability

She can now bring the light of the Whiteman here

For she has the knowledge

My fellow elders

The stories we want to hear tomorrow

Are here with us, our girls!

Let us send our girls to school

For good health

For a healthy society and families

Because it is the year of jubilation

And for this, we must change

Year of jubilation brings with it new everything

For this is the stories we want to hear tomorrow
