I had been a doctoral candidate in the Department of Sociology, Rhodes University South Africa, since 2015. I hold MSc in Development Studies with major in Gender Studies from Lund University Sweden, and BSc in Gender Studies with Human Rights as interdisciplinary studies from Lund University Sweden.I had vast fieldwork experience working with Ugandan scholars at the Makerere University while conducting fieldwork and sharing scholarly debates. My research looks at the phenomenon of ‘’corrective rape’’ on black lesbian in the townships of Cape Town. My research interest includes black feminist scholarships in European academia and how women of colours disfranchised in the EUROPEAN academia.
